Drive the right knee up and across

Actively plant the left leg underneath the body

Keep the javelin back

Set up a long left arm for the power position

Power Position

Turn and drop the right hip and knee

Left leg block

Keep the javelin back

Left arm open

Release and Recovery

Turn the right side aggressively into the finish

Hold the left side block

Move the javelin into a long powerful finish forward

Pull in the left arm down and in during the block

Regain balance during the recovery of the throw
